Cel-Tec Foundry is a small, family run foundry specialising in the reproduction, restoration and repair of architectural cast metalwork, cast fireplaces, ornamental bronzes and plaques together with a range of engineering components.
We offer casting and finishing services to, both commercial and domestic clients. in a range of materials including bronze, cast iron, aluminium and brass. Where appropriate these are produced using recycled materials and techniques to be as environmentally sympathetic as possible.
Our experience, design capabilities and knowledge of architectural history together with our awareness of our forbearer’s skills and methods make us unique in the services we offer.

Fireplaces
We produce a range of over fifty cast fire inserts, hob grates, fire baskets and dog grates together with a unique restoration service of customer originals, often on site to save disruption.
Our manufacturing ability enable us to replicate and replace missing and damaged parts.
Our experience and knowledge of Architectural history enable us to reproduce, restore or create new bespoke fire inserts.
So whether your style is minimalist or more traditional these fires fitted into a marble, stone or timber surround will give your room a focal point and, when alight, give a warmth far beyond their output; they truly make a home of a house.

Cast Signs
We use traditional sand moulding techniques, allied with modern casting processes to produce high definition castings in a range of materials and finishes. casting materials range from recycled materials to B.S. engineering grades in bronze, gunmetal, brass, aluminium and cast iron.
Finishing options include paint or powder-coating (RAL and BS colours available) or artificial patina. Highlights can be polished to a range of levels or detail painted in enamel paints.
We have developed techniques that allows us to cast plaques and signs with graphics, logos and an almost unlimited range of type faces against an attractive textured background. This combined with traditional foundry lettering, carving and modelling enables clients to specify traditional materials which are fashioned in a new and distinctive way.
Casting weights and sizes range from 1 to 250kg and from a few mm to approximately 2 x2 metres.
